Youth Fellowship: At First United Methodist Church, we realize that our youth are our future.
We go to great lengths to design youth programs that teach youth in the ways of
the Lord. The programs are creative, faithful, and tons of fun. We realize that
the world is a tough place for kids to grow up in, and we want to do all we can
to help prepare our youth for the challenges that face them. Our Children's and
Youth Director, Karen M., is a gifted minister who leads the group.
We have a youth-friendly lounge and a game room, complete with air hockey, fooze ball, TV, VCR, DVD, beanbag chairs, and much more. It's a great place for our youth to hang out. Throughout the year our youth meet each Sunday night to have fun and learn more about God, the Bible, and how faith can impact their daily lives.
We also do mission projects, go on retreats, take trips, play sports, have lock ins, and much more. There is always something exciting going on with our youth group! A main goal of our youth program is to keep kids interested in God and the Church at a time when many other things compete for their attention.
